Zespół Szkół Publicznych in Kunowa is a complex of two state schools – primary school and middle (lower secondary) school. It is a school with over a 100-year long tradition and dates back to the beginnings of the 20th century and witnessed two World Wars, times of Communism and forming of free country after 1989. Now we are members of the European Union - citizens of Europe. Our school tries to keep up with the changes in the modern world not forgetting about our past and tradition. We want our students to be important part of the common future Europe.
The school is located in Jasło county in Podkarpackie province (Subcarpathia) in the south-east of Poland. It is a beautiful rural area with lots of forests and hills (the tallest mountains in Poland - The Tatra Mountains are also quite near). The school is attended by students (aged 6-16) from different villages and is a place that integrates local community. The building is old but recently modernised and meets all the modern standards. Our students can use a gym, a library, a canteen, a playground and a sports field. Thanks to our highly qualified teachers, our pupils’ final exam results have been the best in the area for the past few years.
